Calonge preserves in its old town most of the layout of the medieval streets, built around the castle of Calonge, which dates back to the 11th century, and the church, from the 18th century. 

It also has several important historical remains, such as the dolmen of Puigsesforques or the remains of an ancient Iberian settlement from the 4th century BC, which are located near the medieval fortress of Castellbarri.
